About me
I am a native of Montana and a citizen of the world. My childhood was nomadic, traveling around the globe and living in places like Madagascar and Ecuador. My early experiences left me with a trove of rich memories and experiences that have influenced my life, philosophy, and art.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in art education and my Master of Fine Arts in figurative painting. Because of a lot of self-imposed limiting beliefs, I chose a career teaching art instead of making art. Although I love teaching, I felt strangely unfulfilled.

In the Spring of 2022, I stumbled across the Art2Life Creative Visionary Program created by artist Nicholas Wilton. Better known as CVP, Nick's program was instrumental in transforming my life and art.

I moved from Nevada to California in 2023, and opened my own gallery and studio in 2025. I am finally living the life I have always envisioned. I still teach high school, but plan to transition to teaching workshops at my studio full time as I move into this thing called retirement.

Art is not my only passion. I am also an adventurer and explorer. I love to ride things with two wheels and four legs. I crave wide open spaces and the solitude of the wilderness. Rescued furballs are my homies, and they keep me sane.
