About me
I am a native of Montana and a citizen of the world. My childhood was nomadic, traveling around the globe and living in places like Madagascar and Ecuador. Those early experiences left me with a trove of rich memories and experiences that influenced my life, philosophy, and art.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in art education and my Master of Fine Arts in figurative painting. Because of a lot of self-imposed limiting beliefs, I chose a career teaching art instead of making art. Although I enjoyed teaching, I always felt the pull to create more fully.
In the Spring of 2022, I stumbled across the Art2Life Creative Visionary Program created by artist Nicholas Wilton. Better known as CVP, Nick's program was instrumental in transforming my life and art. Nick helped me to change my mindset and pursue my art more fully. I opened my own studio and gallery in 2025, and my art and life have flourished.
In addition to my creative passions, I am an avid adventurer and explorer.
I love to ride things with two wheels and four legs. I crave wide open spaces and the solitude of the wilderness. I share my life with two rescued fur balls, and they keep me somewhat sane.
